LEED v5 Green Associate Exam Prep Class: Principles of Green Building and LEED Core Concepts
In partnership with the CDRA, the Environmental Service Management Group (ESMG) is offering its first LEED v5 Green Associate Exam Prep class for CDRA members and invited guests. This live instructor-led webinar is designed to prepare participants for the LEED Green Associate Credential, which demonstrates a professional’s thorough knowledge of green building principles and practices.Prepare for the Next Generation of LEED
LEED v5 represents the latest evolution of the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. The new rating system places greater emphasis on three key impact areas: decarbonization, quality of life, and ecological conservation and restoration. For professionals working in construction and demolition recycling, waste management, sustainability, and related fields, these changes make understanding LEED increasingly relevant. ESMG’s course will help participants build a practical understanding of foundational LEED concepts while focusing specifically on the knowledge needed to prepare for the LEED v5 Green Associate Exam.About the Course
The first virtual class will take place October 6-8 and will be led by John Decina, award-winning LEED AP/PM with over 15 years of teaching experience. The live format will give participants the opportunity to learn directly from experienced instructors, ask questions, work through key concepts, and practice applying their knowledge to exam-style questions. The course will also bring an industry-specific perspective to LEED exam preparation. Guest instructors specializing in Construction Waste Management Planning (CWMP) and Zero Waste will provide additional insight into topics relevant to CDRA members.Participants will also receive:
- Recorded Sessions for on demand review following live classes
- Simulated exam questions to help participants understand what they can expect
- An optional exam-specific review session for additional preparation
- A certificate of completion upon finishing the course
