Member Spotlight: ReSource Waste Services – Salem, NH

In January of this year ReSource Waste was awarded the 2026 CDRA Recycler of the Year award, so it was exciting to see one of their facilities firsthand. ReSource Waste has been around for over 30 years. Their key focus is to get everything possible out of the waste stream and as you walk through their facility, you can see right away that that statement is not an exaggeration. They do everything from dismantling air conditioners, palletizing flat screen tv’s for proper disposal, box universal waste such as fluorescent bulbs for recycling, harvest and recycle wood, recover and bale rigid plastic, concrete, brick and block, strip wire, harvest and bale cardboard and metals. In fact, I have never seen a recycling facility recover metals at the level that ReSource Waste does. They then take the recovered and processed metal to the metal recycling facility they also own and operate.

Their facility is really impressive, but what is even more impressive is the length of time this team has been together. David Devito is enormously proud of his facility, but even prouder of the team he has built. You can tell that they genuinely love being there and working together. David is pictured with Orlando Patricio, an employee of 20+ years. I toured the facility in Salem, NH, one of four facilities owned and operated by ReSource Waste. The other three facilities are in Roxbury, MA, Lewiston, Main, Epping, NH and a rail operation in Ware, MA. They also own and operate the following hauling companies: Northeast Recycling, C.L. Noonan, and Arrow Container. For more information about their recycling or hauling services please reach out to info@resourcewaste.com.
