Another thing that is special about this company is that it is a second generation family run business, led by brothers Will and Scott Dembo. As a top ranking agency, they service all 50 states and have 150 employees. 

During my visit to their offices in Nashville, it was great to meet with key leaders of CIA to learn first hand how their history has shaped who they are today. Because they have also been boots on the ground, knee deep in scrap material they know the heavy equipment and heavy vehicles needed to get the job done. They understand the challenges, especially around safety that are required to run a recycling operation. Because of this unique perspective they work with their recycling clients differently. They help them mitigate risk with an insider’s perspective. They started as small business owners and got into their sector because of their own insurance needs. They are proud of their roots and the road they have taken to get where they are today, but when you sit and visit with them, hear them speaking our language, you know that you are talking with one of our own.
